working links, for now

It looks like they (whoever they are) have republished the article I was linking to in my piece from Feb 21. Here is the article on personnel shortages. There was also another story about Brazil's state-owned Petrobas and how they are experiencing their own increased lifting costs due to high equipment and service costs caused by strong global demand for oilfield services.

Sometime ago you wrote about the requirements one needs to take the New Mexico bar exam. I wanted to give you the name of a Supreme Court Judge during the 40’s, but it escaped me. Now that I remember, here it is – Judge Robert Jackson. If you have a chance to read his biography, go for it. He also presided at the Nuremberg Trials in the 50’s and put away Hitler’s right-hand man to execution. But this guy (his name could be Herman Goerig or something like that) swallowed some cyanide pills and was dead before he was hung.
