greater than, less than

What is up with people using greater than (>) and less than (<) signs to compare things?

Clever use of "grater" rather than "greater". I guess we know how you feel about this < > business.

Apparently, the blogmeister has had second thoughts about his original typing of "grater" rather than "greater" as it is now. Another example of historical revisionism if I ever saw one. Next thing you know, he take away all these posts and you will never know the truth. Probably won't be missed, either.
